Kennedy Wilson acquired the iconic resort in 2016 and led a substantial redevelopment process that prioritized sustainability, respect for local culture, state-of-the-art technology, and authentic design.
Kennedy Wilson’s business plan included the development of an additional 166 units, a refurbishment of all multifamily units, and converting 13,000 sq. ft. of ground floor commercial space into exclusive tenant amenity space, including a gym, cinema room, lounge area, child’s play area and a high-end shared kitchen. Two shell and core penthouse apartments were converted into 4 individual units and 2 privately-owned units were acquired separately, increasing the total of KWE-owned units to 442.
In Ku Lee is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Kennedy Wilson. He is in charge of all of Kennedy Wilson’s public company regulatory and corporate governance matters and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of KW Investment Adviser. Mr. Lee is also responsible for all legal aspects of Kennedy Wilson’s corporate and transaction capital raising, including public and private offerings of equity and debt.
Matt Windisch is President of Kennedy Wilson. Matt spearheads strategic planning for the company and Kennedy Wilson’s public and private capital market activities and has responsibility for growing Kennedy Wilson’s investment management business, including the company’s credit platform that has expanded to over $7 billion in total gross commitments. He manages third-party capital raising for the company and maintains many of Kennedy Wilson’s key investor and banking relationships.
