
National Senior Managing Director
Eric Johnson brings over 25 years of commercial real estate leadership experience to Kennedy Wilson Properties, having held senior management positions with three of the largest commercial real estate firms. His industry skills include planning and strategy, demographic and financial analysis, tenant mix analysis, lease negotiation, property and facility management, tenant services, site selection, project and construction oversight, and property repositioning and disposition. Mr. Johnson has served as a court-appointed receiver on a number of cases involving various property types and lenders.
Previous positions include Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield through its acquisition of Burnham Real Estate Services, and in January 2008, Mr. Johnson was Senior Managing Director/Principal for Burnham, a firm specializing in developer services, investment, brokerage, and property and project management. Mr. Johnson was responsible for management and day-to-day operations.
Prior to Burnham, he was Senior Vice President for Trammell Crow Company in Los Angeles, CA, with P&L responsibility for Southern California operations and oversight of a 38-million-square-foot investment portfolio and a 6-million-square-foot corporate facility portfolio.
Further experience includes his role as Executive Managing Director/Western Division for CB Richard Ellis in Los Angeles, CA, where he directed the management and leasing of a 68-million-square-foot commercial real estate portfolio located in California and the Pacific Northwest region. Disciplines included asset management, facilities and property management, landlord leasing, investment sales, receivership services, engineering operations, HR, reporting and accounting.
With CBRE in Washington, DC, Mr. Johnson was Executive Managing Director Eastern Division, where he led management and landlord leasing operations for an 18 office multi-state region including Washington, DC, Boston and Miami for a 54-million-square-foot office, retail and industrial property portfolio.
In addition to his wealth of real estate experience, Mr. Johnson has also acted as a court appointed receiver for more than 30 assets in California and Nevada, all of which have successfully concluded through either sale or foreclosure action.
